1. Who are the instructors of MTI classes?
The directors and faculty hold master’s and doctoral degrees in divinity, theology, leadership, and psychology. Their education stems from Winebrenner, Seminary and various other highly respected schools such as Penn State, Gordon Conwell, Evangelical and Beeson. The day-to-day operations are guided by a director with previous administrative and teaching experience in various schools throughout the county.
2. What options are available for attending class?
Our classes are taught in person and may be attended remotely by zoom. You have the opportunity to ask instructors questions and interact with other students. This is an opportunity to learn firsthand from a member of our community and build relationships with members of our community.
3. Where will I attend classes in person?
We offer classes in local churches in Carlisle, Mechanicsburg, Shippensburg, Chambersburg, New Cumberland and surrounding areas in Pennsylvania. We may be able to offer classes in your area, please check with us. Zoom will be available for those attending remotely.
4. What is your credentialing?
We have created a pathway for men and women to attain education which will prepare them to serve as a Pastor or lay leader within the Eastern Regional Conference Churches of God. We offer diplomas upon completion and eligibility for those seeking credentialing to sit before the Credentialing and Placement Commission.
5. What is the cost for the pastoral track?
Currently, we offer 15 core classes and 3 electives for a total of 18 classes for the completion of the pastoral track. The classes are $150 each. The total investment is $2,700 plus the cost of books.
6. What is the organizational structure of MTI?
We are governed by a Board of Directors that works in close consultation. Serving on the Board are pastors, educators, and church leaders from diverse backgrounds.
7. When are classes offered?
We offer a 12 week spring and fall semester offering 2 core and 1 elective classes. In addition we offer a summer class and special classes periodically to help you advance your education and time of completion.
